1. IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING PERU

a) Citizens of Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay traveling to Peru for tourism purposes may enter the country carrying only their physical national identity document or card (in the case of Colombian minors, they may carry their identity card).

b) Citizens of nationalities other than those indicated in the previous point must have a passport valid for at least 6 months.

c) Spanish citizens must keep the Andean Migration Card (TAM), which they receive upon entering Peru, until the day they leave the country. Spanish citizens do not require a visa to enter Peru, but the maximum stay is 183 days, cumulative within a 365-day period.

d) Dutch citizens must have a round-trip ticket that does not exceed the maximum stay in Peru, which is 183 days, cumulative within a 365-day period.

e) Venezuelan citizens must have some type of visa to enter Peru, unless they have permanent residence in a member country of the Pacific Alliance (Chile, Colombia, or Mexico).

f) For a minor to leave Peru, they must have a Travel Authorization. If one of the parents is abroad, they must go to a Peruvian Consulate to have said authorization signed.

  1. SAFETY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING PERU

The Peruvian Government, through Supreme Decree No. 130-2022 (October 27, 2022), has ordered the repeal of the National State of Emergency due to COVID-19. Therefore:

a) To enter the country, it will not be necessary under any circumstances to present a vaccination card or a negative molecular test.

b) The use of masks is optional in open and/or closed spaces.

c) According to Ministerial Resolution No. 811-2022/MINSA, published on October 12, 2022, completing and presenting the Traveler’s Health Declaration is no longer mandatory.

d) Traveling to Peru will not require a coronavirus vaccination in 2023.

e) Although no vaccinations are required for travel to Peru, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has the following recommendations if you will be visiting jungle areas or if you have visited endemic countries or areas of the world:

a. Yellow fever

b. Typhoid fever

c. Tetanus

d. Polio

e. Hepatitis A and B
